The piston ring 10 (Figs. 4, 5) has a groove 13 extending along its circumference and is provided with channels 14 that are perpendicular to the circumference and between which recesses 20 extend. The groove 13 has a semicircle cross section.
The compression ring 11 (FIGS. 6, 8) has, as a lock 2, protrusions 22 and 23 which are included in each other as a lock 2. In this ring there is a groove 24 in the form of a helical line ending in front of the lock 21, with the passage going downward The upper end 17 channels 25 are included in the groove 24. As in ring 10, grooves 26 pass between the channels 25, the lower limiting edge 27 in this case has the same direction as the groove 24, notch 26 (FIG. 8) has in this case, the concave shape 28, while the groove has a triangular cross-section.
For an example of the operation of a piston engine of an internal combustion, it is assumed that the piston 6 under the influence of gas pressure moves from its position to the dead center in the direction of the cylinder head; 27 and the schematically shown lubrication hole 5 coincides with the groove 24. According to the arrows, the gas flows through the channel 25, respectively, through the groove 24, after which the gas flows through cm dressing the hole 5 and the distribution of the lubricating oil is accelerated in the direction of the circumference. Additionally, channels 25 are clamped to equalize pressure in conjunction with groove 24.
